We dance on Tuesday nights in Pilgrim Hall at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 2020 Chestnut St, on the northeast corner of Chestnut and Monroe, in Carlsbad, California. From the 78, exit El Camino, go south to Chestnut and turn right, down to Monroe. Church is on the near right corner. Small parking off Chestnut, and more parking around the corner.
We are a small club so occasionally we skip an evening if we don't have enough dancers. If you are not sure whether we are dancing, please call us or email us:
FYI: The closest other gay SD clubs are Finest City Squares in San Diego, Golden State Squares in Santa Ana, and Boots in Squares in Palm Springs. There are about twelve gay square dance clubs in southern California, and about 85 in the U.S., Canada, and other countries.
Most clubs are member-run, but OS is so small that I have not been able to turn the club over to the members, so thus far it is caller-run, with as much input as I can get from the members.
