The David Bohnett Cyber Center is a 10-terminal computer lab adjacent to the Front Desk at The Center on Centre Street. The Hillcrest Youth Center (HYC) also houses a sister computer lab available for youth ages 14-20. New computers at HYC have been generously donated by the Waitt Family Foundation and the David Bohnett Foundation. Both labs provide free classes, mentoring, Internet access and use of the Microsoft Office Suite. Please call to verify hours of operation, there are times when the Cyber Center may be closed.
E.A.G.E.R. (Expectation Around Gender Expression & Roles) is a discussion and support group for transgender and trans-questioning youth ages 14-20. This discussion group often uses media clips, movies, and art projects to facilitate discussion about issues facing the transgender youth community. This group meets Friday evenings from 7-8 pm at the Hillcrest Youth Center.
A discussion and support group for youth who have just come out, are thinking about coming out or are questioning their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Alcoholics Anonymous meeting open to anyone who thinks they may have a problem with alcohol. We discuss the AA program of recovery and the 12 steps. Meets every Friday at The Center at 8pm.
A discussion group for male folks ages 14-20 who are looking for a supportive and social male-centered space. Great place to make a new friend, ask those questions, and have a great time with people just like you. Soyboys is a new social group for gay and gay-friendly guys who are vegetarian or interested in a vegetarian lifestyle. We meet at least once a month for potlucks, outings to vegetarian (friendly) restaurants and other social events. Please contact Michael for more information.

This new group for HIV+ men meets every Friday from 6:00 to 7:30pm at the main Center. It is a support and discussion group led by two trained facilitators. Members of the group who are interested are welcome to join other members in going out socially afterwards in Hillcrest. Group Room 3.
Reading Group Book Club meets first Friday of each month in Meeting Room 2.
A play group for parents/caregivers with babies ages 0-24 months takes place every Friday from 9:30-11am at The Center, 3909 Centre St. No RSVP is required.

UCSD's AVRC and San Diego County Health have partnered with the LGBT Community Center to provide free & confidential HIV testing at the main Centre St. facility. Available testing slots each day are first come, first served (no appointments taken.) Testing hours are:
